bolognese bento

Pasta shells with bolognese sauce, parmesan cheese and a basil leaf, a kiwi fruit and some apricot balls rolled in coconut (yum!)

Calories: 475 (1989kj)

Unlike most of my bentos, this one isn't vegetarian. The bolognese sauce has beef and lamb mince (I meant to use beef and pork, but accidentally bought lamb... oops). It was still pretty tasty though. ^_^

Time & process:
  1. Cook bolognese sauce - 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on how long your simmer it for.
  2. While pasta is cooking, pack snacks in bento - 15 minutes.
